Original pdf

Ghostscript renders a transparent box lighter than the original.

I converted the original pdf using Ghostscript 9.20 with:
gswin64c -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=ghostscript.pdf  original.pdf

The original file is somewhat complicated with extraneous elements which are going to have to be removed before I can get a clearer picture of what is going on here.

This will take some time and I'm busy with other work right at the moment, I'll get to this when I can.
