Some files render with graphics elements missing or appearing when they are not supposed to when converting a PDF to XPS with the xpswrite device.  For example:

  bin/gs -sDEVICE=xpswrite -o test.xps ./CATX4547.pdf

Most every page shows a visible difference; I'll attach screenshots showing the pdf->xps->bitmap (left) vs. the pdf->bitmap (center) path and the difference (right).

Fixed in commit 3a54081a586f30f1756ae3b3ff9644cba9d2558d and several other earlier commits to fix clipping problems.
