We are looking for a way to create PDF files directly using Ghost-script or any other tool you provide that can support the following elements:

text
Clipping paths
Named Colors
Images
vector data (fill - solid/gradient, strokes)
Layers

We are looking for ideas. We tried first creating our own EPS file and then run it through GhostScript but we loose layers. We have not tried all the elements through this process.

Ghostscript is not intended as a general-purpose PDF creation library, however (assuming that 'layers' here means 'optional content') this appears to be a duplicate of 690926
