Note that the last one (the simpliest one, in fact), was the subject matter of bug 691441 .

I think one of them is about --prefix, so shouldn't be integrated; the rest are interesting but looks invasive.

I am filing this just so that this work is not forgotten and may be incoporated some how in the future.

There are some significant problem against msvc with 
ghostscript-8.70-windows-make.patch - I'll send them the fix and update to 9.00 anyhow.

I think some of these are fixed or redundant.

Outstanding patches should be submitted as individual bugs, with patches against a recent GS version attached to the bugs.
