hello, i want to create PCL Duplex Output (to print) from a pdf File. i uses itanium (64) hpux 11.23 or windows. There are two steps to create PCL 1.) Tool "pdftops" to create postscript (we use "pdftops" with the "-duplex" option) 2.) ghostscript-8.62.0-ia64-11.23._1 to create pcl from ps File i use "gs -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=ljet4d -dDuplex -sOutputFile=testduplex-gs.pcl -sPAPERSIZE=a4 testduplex.ps" the result is a PCL File with Duplex Long-edge binding, but all pages are frontpages. I try the commando on hpux, suse linux and winnt. On hpux an windows i get a wrong result (only frontpages). On linux i get a pcl Duplex Long-edge binding with front and backpages. The production works on hpux
Please upgrade to the recent (Feb 3 2009) 8.64 release. There was a fix to duplexing in the PCL drivers included. If the problem persists after the upgrade, please attach the PS input file (testduplex.ps).

Hello Ray, our Customer uses HP Itanium 64 bit. I want to install Ghostscript 8.64, but i did not found the 64 bit version. Can you help me? Where i can find a version for HPUX 64 bit. Thanks
We don't provide binaries (except for 32-bit windows). If you have problems building 8.64, please let us know (email or phone).
