I'm having serious problem converting PDF MS-Dynamics generated file to PS format on linux platform. I really don't know exactly what's the command launched or which parameters apply to this case since the GS confersion are internally lauched by hylafax software before transmitting a fax, but I can list the error message (below) and I can also send you the document causing the problem. You can test the problem by command pdf2ps file.pdf file.ps on linux OS. Here the error: Error: /undefinedresource in findresource Operand stack: --nostringval-- --dict:6/15(L)-- 2 3 4 F1 12.0 --dict:6/6(L)-- --dict:6/6(L)-- Arial --dict:11/12(ro)(G)-- --nostringval-- CIDFontObject --dict:7/7(L)-- --dict:7/7(L)-- Adobe-Identity CIDFont Adobe-Identity Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval- - 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1905 1 3 %oparray_pop 1904 1 3 % oparray_pop 1888 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 3 1 3 --nostringval-- %for_pos_int_continue --nostringval-- -- nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- %array_continue -- nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push --nostringval-- % loop_continue --nostringval-- 415 --nostringval-- 1853 4 11 % oparray_pop --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1852 4 11 % oparray_pop --nostringval-- (gstatetype) --dict:0/0(L)-- --nostringval- - false 1 %stopped_push --nostringval-- %loop_continue -- nostringval-- 1147 --nostringval-- 1853 5 13 %oparray_pop -- nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1852 5 13 %oparray_pop -- nostringval-- (gstatetype) --dict:2/2(L)-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push --nostringval-- %loop_continue --nostringval-- 1998 -- nostringval-- 1853 6 15 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- false 1 % stopped_push 1852 6 15 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- (gstatetype) --dict:2/2(L)-- --nostringval-- false 1 % stopped_push --nostringval-- %loop_continue --nostringval-- -- nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- -- nostringval-- %array_continue --nostringval-- --nostringval-- -- nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- %loop_continue -- nostringval-- 1856 17 16 %oparray_pop findresource % errorexec_pop --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1152/1684(ro)(G)-- --dict:1/20(G)-- --dict:75/200(L)-- -- dict:75/200(L)-- --dict:106/127(ro)(G)-- --dict:275/300(ro)(G)-- -- dict:22/25(L)-- --dict:4/6(L)-- --dict:21/40(L)-- --dict:1/1(ro)(G)-- - -dict:1/1(ro)(G)-- --dict:1/1(ro)(G)-- --dict:1/1(ro)(G)-- --dict:1/1(ro) (G)-- --dict:1/1(ro)(G)-- --dict:6/8(L)-- --dict:20/26(ro)(G)-- Current allocation mode is local Last OS error: 2 GPL Ghostscript 8.63: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1

This is not a pdfwrite problem, the same error occurs when rendering (as well as a number of other warnings about damaged xref, incorrect stream length and so on). Opening the file with Acrobat briefly flashes a 'fixing' dialog, followed by 'illegal operation 're' inside a text object'. So the file seems pretty badly damaged. However the reported error looks to be a duplicate of 690061 (and possibly others). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 690061 ***
