in the file continental.pdf you can find the logo of "Continental" . When generating tiff ( or another format ), the logo is rendered with a very low quality. It seemes, that curves are not drawn, only their start and endpoints. If you zoom the horse in the logo, you can see, that the circles around it are drawn only with 8 edges. The logo itself is defined as one character of a embedded font.

At 400 or 800 dpi, the characters looks strange. The 'e' in Continental and the "circle" around the horse is very strange (octagonal). Reassigning for vectors to be investigated.
Setting P2 for a customer bug.
In the simplified test all the drawing is a single TT glyph. It paints good if I set AVECTOR_BUG 0 in ttfmain.c . Likely need to adjust thresholds.

The paytch causes a progression with comparefiles/bugsample.pdf . No difference with CET.
