Description Marcos H. Woehrmann 2008-01-22 08:56:32 UTC
The customer reports and I've verified that Ghostscript (8.61 and head (r8492)) render the attached PDF
file with a black background behind the digital signature (see attached screenshot.png).

The command line I'm using for testing:

  bin/gs -sDEVICE=tiff24nc -sOutputFile=test.tif ./Testplan_dig_Sign_leer_ale.pdf

The signature is missing entirely with the smask_work branch r9292.
Comment 4 Ralph Giles 2008-12-18 00:03:19 UTC
To clarify, this bug was fixed in trunk with Alex's fix r8612. I've added the
test file here to comparefiles. It may overlap with the Bug689764.pdf but the
failure presents differently.

It does render correctly with the smask_work branch if banding is disabled, so
the failure I described in comment #3 is attributable to the state of the clist
implementation there. Since both files for this issue are in comparefiles,
regression testing should indicate when this is fixed.

Closing as a duplicate. Support, please notify the customer.

Changing customer bugs that have been resolved more than a year ago to closed.
