Description Ken Sharp 2011-10-20 13:48:10 UTC
Created attachment 8029 [details]
example PDF file

Cusotmer reports, and I've verified, that the attached PDF file should render with some text, and does with Acrobat and MuPDF. However with Ghostscript it renders as a plain gray page.

Any command line seems to do this, but I tested with the Windows display device and all default settings:

gswin32 page4.pdf

I'm not at all certain this is a PDF interpreter bug but assigning to Alex for the initial investigation.
Comment 1 Ken Sharp 2011-10-20 13:54:13 UTC
Added customer number, increased priority for customer bug.
Comment 2 Chris Liddell (chrisl) 2011-10-20 14:08:09 UTC
This would seem to be a Jasper bug, building with either Alex's "experimental" OpenJPEG integration or Luratech gives good output.
Comment 3 Ken Sharp 2011-10-25 16:07:23 UTC
Removing customer number as the customer has been advised to use the commercial build. This bug should be completely resolved with adoption of the OpenJPEG decoder.
Comment 4 Chris Liddell (chrisl) 2011-12-21 15:26:10 UTC
Fixed by switching to OpenJPEG
