Description Pablo Rodríguez 2016-01-05 12:54:39 UTC
Tor,

I’m afraid I cannot reload PDF documents using 'r' in mupdf-gl (as I do in mupdf-x11).

I would say that the feature isn’t implemented in mupdf-gl.

This is basic feature is essential for users with PDF generators (such as, but not limited to, TeX users).

Could you implement this feature in mupdf-gl?

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo

I have discovered the following commit:

commit b90748a78964b5e49b418fe81cf8cc04b104ff0e
Author: Tor Andersson <tor.andersson@artifex.com>
Date: Mon Oct 17 12:33:40 2016 +0200

gl: Add reload key binding: 'r'.

This is part of latest released version.

Either in Linux or in Windows, I can’t get it working.

Isn’t it a bug?

I just tested it again, and it works for me.

'f' doesn’t work for fullscreen toogle in mupdf-gl (either on Linux or on Windows).

Is it supposed to work in mupdf-1.10a?

(Just confirming before asking for further testing to other people.)

Tor, this is against latest stable version.

I forgot to specify it in the bug report.

I reported the issue, since the code seems to enable the keyboard shortcuts.

Tor,

I have compiled the current master (fd68822) and 'r' reloads the document. I’m afraid that 'f' doesn’t change anything.

BTW, I compiled tor/mupdf and mupdf-gl wasn’t generated. I don’t know whether is due to using glfw-3.2.1. The submodule (apart from having wrong url info) doesn’t seem to be available:

$ git submodule update
Cloning into '/home/ousia/tor-mupdf/thirdparty/glfw'...
fatal: repository 'http://git.ghostscript.com/thirdparty-glfw.git/' not found
fatal: clone of 'http://git.ghostscript.com/thirdparty-glfw.git' into submodule path '/home/ousia/tor-mupdf/thirdparty/glfw' failed

Fixed in 1.11rc1.
