Description martin 2015-10-28 18:47:00 UTC
Please let me automate mupdf to the point that it initially zooms to
either height or width without further interaction.

This would be very useful, and it would be even MORE useful if it were also possible to lock the horizontal scroll in place. As it is, when I'm zoomed in to fit to width, it's difficult to avoid making the document wobble around while scrolling up and down.

The default behaviour of mupdf-x11 and mupdf-gl is to open up with a window showing the full contents of the page. I don't see how zooming to height or width at startup would be any different than the current behaviour.

That said, adding more options is not really on the table. If you want a feature like this, the source to the viewer is out there and you're welcome to modify it as much as you like.
