Description Marcos H. Woehrmann 2007-10-18 10:31:56 UTC
The customer reports and I've verified that Ghostscript 8.57 and head (r8301) incorrectly draw the fifth
character incorrectly in the attached pdf file (actually, the customer says that's it's incorrect, I've verified
that it's different than Acrobat 8.0, but I can't say if Ghostscript or Acrobat is correct, however I'm willing
to accept the customer's position). See the attached comparison.png for a comparison of Ghostscript and
Acrobat.

The command line I'm using for testing:

  bin/gs -sDEVICE=ppmraw -sOutputFile=test.ppm -r300 ./test2.pdf

Although embedded font is TppMing (not MingLiU - oops,
embedded font lacks "post" and "name" table, so I cannot
guess the foundry of this font) but it should be same
with bug 689103.
