With one of the PS documents, we are getting GS core dump, when converted the 
PS document to PDF. The same conversion was working with GS 8.54, but with GS 
8.54 (and with the patch file gs_ttf.ps for bug #688841) GS is dumping core.
This is seen only on HPUX 11.23 Itanium platform.
 
The command we use for PS->PDF conversion is:
/hp/om/bin/gs -I/hp/om/lib/PS -I/hp/om/lib/FONTS/Soft_Horizons -q -dNOPAUSE -
dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=test.pdf jetform.ps

Thank you for the bug report, but please let us set the priority and severity
fields.

I can reproduce a segfault on x86_64 Linux with the patched 8.54 Subbu
described. I cannot reproduce with HEAD so this is likely fixed.

The patch (http://ghostscript.com/pipermail/gs-cvs/2006-August/006760.html) 
provided here did not solve the problem.

This is a duplicate of the bug 688721, fixed in the Subversion revision 6818.
See the original bug report for a stand-alone patch.

A few other bugs on 64-bit ppatforms have been found and fixed since gs 8.54
release. See the bug 688848 for details.
