Description Bruno Voisin 2012-04-24 09:08:33 UTC
Found while building from ghostscript-9.05.tar.gz for the OS X platform using

./configure
make
sudo make install

Several doc files are forgotten by the install script, including

GS9_Color_Management.pdf
thirdparty.htm
WhatIsGS.htm

For example, clicking on the link "What is Ghostscript?" in /usr/local/share/ghostscript/9.05/doc/index.html brings up a "File not found" page.

Probable cause: the DOC_PAGES variable inside base/unixinst.mak omits the missing files.

Missing files added in:
http://git.ghostscript.com/?p=ghostpdl.git;a=commitdiff;h=f1056076

I haven't culled the old, no longer existing files from the target.

I am missing another doc file: Ps2ps2.htm. Shouldn't it be installed as well? obj/ps2write.dev is built and then linked into gs.
Comment 3 Peter Dyballa 2012-06-05 22:32:07 UTC
This does not exactly fit into the subject – three new example files are also not installed: text_graph_image_cmyk_rgb.pdf, text_graphic_image.pdf, transparency_example.ps.

I've done a full revision of the documentation and example file lists:
