I presume that this bug is due to commit df2fb6755852¹.

Since then changing pages (no matter how) only occasionally causes the new page to display.  Even things like rotating continue to display the old page.

A debug build will usually work for the first change, but not after that.  A release build not at all.

r does force the new page to display.

I stepped through pdf_showpage(), but didn’t see an explanation for why it fails.

for me same error. next key can`t show next page. recent change have some fualts. maybe.
