Converting Office2007_excel_table.xps to pdf using the svn trunk as so:

./gxps -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=out.pdf -dBATCH -dNOPAUSE
Office2007_excel_table.xps

I'll attach the file and a actual/expected screenshot.

Seems to display correctly when using the pdf output device though.

When run through current code the output PDF file renders correctly with Ghostscript, MuPDF and another PDF interpreter.

With Acrobat 4 it renders incorrectly (because Acrobat 4 doesn't handle transparency) With later versions, Acrobat crashes. I presume this to be a bug in Acrobat and I suspect its related to transparency.
