Description Ryo Furue 2009-11-02 17:29:18 UTC
Open a PDF file

  $ mupdf crasher.pdf

Press the space bar repeatedly to advance pages. On the 13th page, mupdf
crashes. I wish I could upload the file that causes the problem to this bug
tracking system. If you need the file, I can send it to you. (But, I can't
guarantee how long I'll keep it.)

Regards,
Ryo

Created attachment 5612 [details]
mupdf-crasher.pdf

Advance pages by pressing the space bar. It crashes mupdf on page 13.
The file doesn't contain sensitive information, but I'd appreciate it if you
could destroy it after you are done with it.

I cannot reproduce this bug. Does it crash with the latest source?

I didn't compile from the source. I downloaded the latest binary, which is
dated "2009-07-10".

Would an output from "strace -f" help?

Best regards,
Ryo

Passes cleanly through valgrind.
Comment 6 Ryo Furue 2010-05-15 01:33:59 UTC
Thank you for the response.

I've just replaced mupdf-2009-07-01 with the latest one:

  http://ccxvii.net/mupdf/download/mupdf-0.5-linux-i386.tar.gz

The new one doesn't crash on the file I originally sent you.

Regards,
Ryo
