Description William Bader 2008-04-14 20:00:55 UTC
Enabling both antialias and setoverprint makes text go away.

Sample file that shows the problem. Viewing with antialias makes some text go
away unless you also add "/setoverprint {pop} def".

Test with antialias disabled that shows all of the image.

Test with antialiasing enabled where a block of text is missing.
Comment 4 Ray Johnston 2008-04-17 10:35:54 UTC
I suspect this is similar to the problem where anti-alias malfunctions with the
pdf14 compositor device in the chain.

Comment 5 Peter Cherepanov 2020-06-23 21:17:28 UTC
This problem can be reproduced in old versions of Ghostscript with the following command line.

~/ghostscript-9.00/bin/gs -sDEVICE=x11alpha -dEPSCrop setoverprint.eps

It was fixed in ghostscript-9.04 in 2011.
Please close this bug report as fixed.
