In updating to a newer Jasper, we MUST make sure and pick up our fixes and
changes. I know that the upstream denied inclusion of the buffering performance
patch (rev 6875).

The patches that may be relevant for jasper are: 6044, 6418, 6469, 6625, 6626,
6753, 6875, 7044, 7060, 7072, 7073, 7456, 7458, 8036, 8037, 8039.

I haven't looked into the imdi or icclib package related fixes.

No news. I hope to get to these before the next release.

Are there any particular issues the updates would address for you?

nothing important, just bugs fixed and more features as usual in new releases.
