The problem is confirmed iv v. 9.06. Fortunately, it's fixed in the current development branch. See the bug 690963 and commit dba8f75023dc5b1abac7e338a541360a106d9956 for details. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 690963 *** |
Created attachment 9045 [details] Celtic FC logo for testing rasterization using bmpsep8 When rasterizing a PostScript file using bmpsep8 as an output device, GhostScript 9.06 crashes consistently when using 'higher' resolutions. I have attached an example file, and used this command line for both versions of GhostScript and on systems running both Windows XP and Windows 7: gswin32c.exe -sDEVICE=bmpsep8 -sOutputFile="out.bmp" -r600 input.eps This works when using GhostScript 8.63, but not in 9.06. When lowering the resolution (depending on system) it works in 9.06 as well.
