Probably, you are using wrong tools. The RedMon port monitor redirects a special printer port to a program. RedMon is commonly used with Ghostscript and a non-PostScript printer to emulate a PostScript printer. RedMon can be used with any program that accepts data on standard input. In your case, a PCL stream is sent to Ghostscript and Ghostscript rightfully rejects it. I need a virtual printer to share it on localhost. It is because the native network driver cannot be shared. So this unreadable string is a PCL stream... Seems I use a wrong driver for my virtual printer. Will try a PostScript driver. Would you please to recommend one. Thanks! First, this is not a blocker. For a Windows PostScript driver, try using the PPD in lib/ghostpdf.ppd In any case, Ghostscript works as expected, so closing this bug (In reply to comment #3) > First, this is not a blocker. > > For a Windows PostScript driver, try using the PPD in lib/ghostpdf.ppd > > In any case, Ghostscript works as expected, so closing this bug Correct! The task is done. Thanks for a good tool. |
