Description Federico Bianchi 2010-03-02 07:35:53 UTC
Some PDFs (notably the scanned document I am sending you in the URL field, but
it's not the only one) are not displayed correctly. The same files look OK when
seen by either Adobe Reader 6.0/9.3, Adobe Acrobat 8.1, Apple Preview (OS 10.4
and 10.5), xpdf or Okular.

Should it matter, I tried MuPDF up to 0.5 on both Win32 (XP, Vista) and
Linux/x86 (Ubuntu 9.04); unfortunately, the Mac binary is x64 specific and
doesn't run on the 10.4 box I have here at work (by the way: an universal
binary running from 10.3 onwards and on all the four CPU combinations would be
_extremely_ welcome).

Glitches aside, thanks a lot for making such a nice tool freely available; I am

Regards

Federico Bianchi

PS: another side note: when you open from the Windows command line a filename
containing a space (and, therefore, surrounded by quotes), an error message
appears. This latest error can be easily reproduced

The document uses PDF transparency with a Darken blend mode.

The issue with misbehaving on windows filenames with spaces has been fixed.
