We can see some artifacts in rendering this testing PDF file:

Theses artifacts are mentioned in the faq as usual, but maybe some improvements
could be made ?

MuPDF version used : mupdf-r934-win32-mingw
Windows version : Windows XP SP2

Ghostscript renders the sample file just fine.

These types of artefacts are impossible to prevent when anti-aliasing except by rendering the entire page without anti-aliasing at a much larger resolution and then downsampling.
