Grabbing a Ralph's bugs. r11448 makes --disable-fontconfig implies --disable-cairo . cairo depends on fontconfig. The reported problem seems to be linker-dependent - on recent linux, --disable-fontconfig would still build the cairo device (and the resulting gs binary dependent on libfontconfig through depending on libcairo). Possibly on MacPro, both direct+indirect dependent libraries needed to be presented to the linker. In any case, if the user specifies --disable-fontconfig, it should be understood that he/she does not want indirect dependencies either. Meant to close with last comment. |
