Hi

I'm having trouble converting PDFs that have some transparencies to JPGs (or
other formats).  With 8.64, the part with transparency turned solid black.  With
the latest HEAD (as of today), it turned solid gray.  Compare
http://www.noiseeee.com/trans.pdf to http://www.noiseeee.com/trans.jpg  (this is
the 8.64 conversion... the HEAD version is the same, except the bars are solid
gray instead of black).

This has been fixed in r9880, committed on 2009-07-22.
