Some followup notes: The -lXt issue would seem to be an autoconf bug. Fix and submit upstream? I would argue (as last time) that the obsolete png library on IRIX is a system config problem, but look for reasonable work-arounds. The C99 issue with jasper should be fixed. The stdbool issue is already documented as bug 687518. The AIX int64_t problem is another hole in our stdint replacement scheme. a config.log would be helpful there. The '... "bufsize" is not constant, but occurs in a context that requires a constant' could also be a config problem. I noticed the respective errors appear in lines protected by '#ifdef HAVE_VLA', and HAVE_VLA comes from jasper/configure.ac. Re-assigning bugs which still have work to do. Bug still reproducible in Ghostscript 9.03 I'm closing this because this kind of "catch-all" bug is impossible to manage sensibly, and would likely rattle on in perpetuity. I would prefer individual issues reported in individual bugs. |
